Yay! I finally have an account on deviant art!

You may call me Tomatogal. I'm 16 years old and I enjoy drawing, tomatoes (despite the fact that I don't eat em' except in ketchup), anime, manga, hermit crabs, eating socks(not really), and sewing.

As already stated, I love anime and manga. My favorites would be One Piece, Black Jack (along with other stuff by Tezuka), Zatch Bell, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Metropolis, and Full Metal Alchemist.

At the moment, I'm picking through all of the scans of my drawings saved on my computer and submitting them.

Yeah...I've been meaning to get online, but I haven't been able to. ^^; Sorry I havent been able to talk to you guys! ;_;

So...what's happened? Lemme think. We got our new horse, May, Monday of last week. She's so sweet! She's like a big gentle giant. I even was able to ride her yesterday. ^^ May and our other horse, Zeba, are buddies now. They're in pastures across from each other, but one always has to be in the other's sight. They even neigh back and forth to each other. It's cute.

I finished Algebra II and oficially finished Marine Biology so now I'm working on Spanish I with my teacher and a Life Management Skills (LMS)PASS book. LMS isn't really exiting....actually I think it's even more boring than my other PASS books honestly. :| Spanish is alright. What really sucks about my schooling is my credits are so screwed up now that it looks like I won't be returning to school until next year, which really, really, really sucks. I guess it was worth being out though. I ran into someone from my school yesterday and it looks like everyone went to school sick, and it spread even more. Apparently it was pretty bad too. Someone I knew from one of my classes last year got a fever of 104 degrees. ....I would've been so screwed.

Since I know I'm going to be stuck at home some more, I'm looking for ways to kill time. Right now I'm in the middle of Memiors of a Geisha. I like it so far. It's actually been a while since I've found a book I like. My grandma bought The Nanny Diaries for me from the tiny little book store at my library. I thought the movie was good, so I thought I might like the book. Everything was half off that day so it was only 50 cents. ^^ I keep looking for used manga there (and other places) but I've had no luck. Darn.

As far as sewing goes, Astro Boy's almost done, I just have been kinda tired so I haven't gotten around to finishing him. I just need to sew his pointy hair things on to head and give him side burn thingies... He's almost 20 iches long, and he's like a big floppy raddoll. XD When I finished his body I did a Tenma esque laugh and went "IT'S ALLIIIIVE", and after I attached his head I couldn't help saying things like "MY BOY!". What? I'm entitled to do stupid things with my plushies. Sewing for hours always leads to insanity...
